very very zed, with a hint of doors and some mushrooms and acid to wash it down.
it weird becuase this invokes feelings of
like an old record you might find somewhere maybe an old beat down shack in the woods thats been abondoned for many years. it also invokes kind of that slave blues of the south kind of feeling.
that being said i know yer style and this is soo you! the sitar and guitar chording is cool, vox is also intruging
very cool cover zed!!

Sounds great, a nice twist on Jenny's tunes and an interesting approach to create a medley of sorts rather than a straight forward 1 on 1 cover. Good job all round

Aaaaahhhhh......I'm being sucked down the wormhole.....again!
.......this is what some of my songs sound like when I'm a couple hours into sawing logs. Sometimes I'll wake up and try to translate them into actual musical notes, but it never seems to come across.......This however comes as close to that dream-composing that occurs in my head as anything that I've ever heard.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!!!

I don't know if you realize how much I love your music style, and this is just amazing.
that lonely harmonica that pops in is perfectly placed! and your vocals are about as far out front as I have ever heard and they are Great! I hear a very folk sound in this even though your music takes such a dark slow groove into a sway.
Dream composing.. yes that could be a new genre and you have it nailed down to an old cross!
Just love your use of analog sounds and instruments.
what is that one sound (I make similar with a guitar but I think you got some real thing making that werer were wererhrer sound???

Wow your vocal captivates me here and your music is just so twisted and warped its like my kids have dropped acid in my Milo. You are such a rarely talented artist Zed. You make your own grove in your music and there is no way I could want to hear it any differently to how you have made it. Its such an honor to share my work on a site that has people like you making wonderful and original music. Wow this just is beyond and words I can summon. I will now just shutmytrap and continue to be amazed.

So the contest is over, and it's my turn to comment... FINALLY!! I love your music, and this is such a unique interpretation of what JennyK and Ecocide have done that it's like a work all its own, not a cover at all! And yet there is enough of the originals to see the source...just enough! Well done, Zed!

i listened to all tracks during the contest..and voted as well..although i didnt do any commenting i just found it awkard trying to compare this one to that one and ect ect..know the dust has cleared i am able to say this was the most interesting and entertaining tracks
of the lot
and you really pleasantly suprised with this rendition of sick.
